The oxtails were SO TENDER and the gravy was so flavorful! The Mac Pie was so delicious and cheesy. This place is AMAZING. Definitely will be coming back.

RockYard Jamaican is a hidden gem in Carmichael. I went for lunch today and both the food and service were excellent. The portions were huge, and the jerk chicken was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The beef patty was fantastic, and every side I tried tasted great. The plantains were especially delicious. This is a special restaurant for Sacramento, and everyone should give it a try.

First time trying oxtails and they were delicious! Lots of savory sauce & tender meat. The rice & peas were good and had some of that oxtail sauce. The fried sweet plantains were very good as well. Big portions. Also had the sea moss mango juice that was refreshing.

It’s nice to have a Jamaican restaurant near by. My husband and I had dinner here and the food was really good. The Rasta Pasta was a bit over cooked but the curry goat and jerk chicken wings were delicious. We understand that they just opened the so we’re sure they’ll decorate the place nicely in time. However, the service was great and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much for the awesome dining experience.

I stopped by for lunch and very glad I did. The food was amazing and there was no long wait. The owner of this establishment was very nice greeted me as soon as I walked in and also answered question about certain dishes and beverages. This place is authentic and very clean I highly recommend and I will be coming back with my family very soon. If you’re looking for real authentic Jamaican food and healthy Jamaican beverages this place is a must try. There’s so much to choose from on the menu but I went with the goat curry which was very tender and the rice and pea weren’t dry at all. Thank you again Rockyaad for the wonderful experience.

I ordered jerk chicken and ox tails. I really liked the cabbage good balance for the spice. $38 for the meal plenty of food. I would go back.

Let me tell you for take out and living over 35 minutes away in traffic this joint still came out slappin!!! Jerk chicken was bomb, ox tails were still HOT and tender with PLENTY of meat. But them dumplings and jerk sauce will keep you coming back every time. I can't wait to come here in person and meet the owner. Thank you for the GREAT meal!
